Hop aboard the York Durham Rail for a #Canada150 heritage ride

Celebrate Canada’s 150th birthday with a heritage train ride through the picturesque Oak Ridges Moraine! Enjoy a doors-open baggage car and on-board family entertainment courtesy of the York Durham Heritage Railway.

In honour of our nation’s anniversary, special fares are in place for trips taking place on Sunday, July 2. Adults, seniors and students ride for $15, children for $1 and kids under the age of two can ride for free.

The train will travel the Uxbridge-Stouffville corridor. Departures from Uxbridge Station are at 10 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.; departures from Stouffville Station are at noon. Round trips between Uxbridge and Stouffville are two hours long. Four trip options will be offered; passengers can either spend time in Stouffville or Uxbridge prior to boarding the next train, or stay on board.
